As the world continues to grapple with the impact of the COVID 19 pandemic, many underserved communities have been disproportionately impacted due to factors such as inadequate access to sanitation, lack of social safety net and broken supply chains leading to higher prices of food. Sunline Foundation has thus chosen to temporarily shift its focus to supporting covid-19 related initiatives with a handful of trusted partners. While having their core activities aligned with the Foundation's mission, the selected NGOs have a deep understanding of the needs on the ground and are providing critical emergency relief as well as post-COVID adaptation capabilities to their beneficiaries. Thanks to your generous contributions and support, we have helped over 2000 individuals in Bhutan, Cambodia and Thailand.

We are seeking grant proposals from Social Purpose Organisations whose mission is to help disadvantaged communities and protect the environment. With an emphasis on well-designed interventions with measurable outcomes, we target organisations that have a strategy of becoming less donor-dependent.

A social purpose organisation is an umbrella term used to describe a wide variety of organisations working for a social purpose. It encompasses Charities, Revenue Generating Social Enterprise and Socially Driven Business organisations with a common aim to address societal issues

Sunline Foundation’s role

Sunline Foundation goes beyond traditional philanthropy by playing an active role as catalyst and strategic advisor to grantees. Where appropriate, we provide technical assistance and targeted financing to improve organisational efficiency and impact.

Our Selection Criteria

Clear strategy for revenue generation and long term sustainability

Able to demonstrate a strong causal linkage between activities and impact.

Clear strategic plan for the continuation of activities after the grant ends.
